Worst customer service ever

Shoes never arrived, waited 3 weeks, emails just go unanswered, eventually I was given a refund with no explanation. Worst customer service ever

Absolutely awful customer service

So wish I’d read these reviews before spending quite a lot of money on a rubbish pair of shoes!
After less than four months of light use the lining of the heel has come apart.
I contacted Merrell in the hope they may have some pride in their product but as so many other of these reviews have said that was a total waste of time!
Will never be buying Merrell again!

Good customer service and after sales aftercare

I bought a pair of Merrell walking shoes in October 2020 and noticed recently that the seams between upper and soles were splitting and letting in water. They had not been worn much. I couldn’t return them to the supplier due to COVID19 travel restrictions so got in touch with Merrell direct. After a number of e mail exchanges and supplying photos and proof of purchase they have replaced them FOC. Thanks Merrell. Now we shall have to wait and see how the new pair fares.

I've owned merrell boots for many…

I've owned merrell boots for many years. The last two pair I bought are falling apart. Very disappointed.

How is this company still in business?

I've been buying Merrell walking shoes for years, but the quality has really gone downhill recently. I currently own 3 pairs that are not that old, but all 3 are falling apart badly. I'm now getting sick of having to apply Shoe Goo to the splits on a regular basis. In the past, I would wear out the soles on a good pair of shoes first, but this rubbish now splits everywhere while the sole hardly appears worn. Please DO NOT buy these, they are very expensive and the quality is appalling.

never buy a merril boot

I have a pair of Merril boots ankle highs, leather. they were supose to be 100 % water proof. they are not!!, they always get my feet wet. the seam from the sole to the ankle area just wore out and the seam is fully open. my receipt is lost and they will not warranty, terrible to work with.
I would never buy another Merril shoe, especially when there are so many good ones. MADE IN CHINA JUNK!

On line ordering.

Placed an order on line.
Called customer service to change shipping method.
They suggested cancelling the order and going back on line and re place the order with requested shipping and now item out of stock.
Called customer service 3 times. Offered no help.
Very bad customer relations for a company well branded. Solutions for the consumer should be their priority.(This all took place within 15 minutes of placing the original order).

Without a doubt

Without a doubt, these are by far, the single greatest pair of shoes I've ever had in my life! Every year I buy a pair of shoes/boots to get me through winter, Most are in pretty bad shape when the following November rolls around. Don't get me wrong, I spend big money and wear them everyday at work where I am on my feet eight to ten hours. My feet have bone spurs and are very painful when I finally hop into bed after a tough day. But these shoe/boots are not only the most comfortable things I've ever placed on my feet; they show very little wear! Nothing, nothing has ever worked as well as this product. I can't wait to get another pair but I'm not sure if that will ever happen!

Bought a pair of snow boots for my 7…

Bought a pair of snow boots for my 7 year old granddaughter. Boots seemed good but after a few months the stitching started to come out at the side and eventually a hole opened up . I emailed Merrells highlighting problem but they did not respond. Still no response to a second email. A couple of months use at that cost is not very good and as clearly they are not interested in problems so be careful buying from them as customer service is clearly not high on the agenda!

Terrible Customer service

Bought a pair of Merrel hiking shoes they developed a hole in them after only 8 weeks. Merrell customer service would not replace them. If you have no receipt they tell you to get lost. Who keeps the receipt for there shoes after 8 weeks? Especially when you pay for what is "supposed" to be a quality shoe

Very poor quality

Very poor quality, both boots split along the sides after around only 3 months of light wear.
Have had much better boots for half the price.
Avoid unless you want wet feet.
